5. Writing Section: 3/22/10 Reading Focus "Before the End of Summer" p. 24- In at least 3 sentences, respond to the "Reading Focus" prompt. Share with a partner.
6. Reading Section: 3/22/10 Summary Sentences "Before the End of Summer" p. 26-27- In groups of four or less, begin reading the story; stop after every two paragraphs to write a summary sentence about what you read.
7. Reading Section: 3/22/10 Literary Analysis Notes- Stop after each page of the reading passage to take notes and practice reading strategies.
