1. Due Wed 6/9/10 Act III scenes 1-5 scan for vocabulary and scene summaries.

1. Sign in on attendance log
2. Copy learning objectives and homework in your planner.
3. Reading Section: 6/8/10 Scan for Vocabulary "He's 22, She's 14..." and Drownings end forbidden teen romance" Make a list of new vocabulary for each selection, translate or write a synonym for each.
4. Reading Section: 6/8/10 Mark the Text and Write Summary Sentences -In groups of 3-4, number the paragraphs; read each article and circle key terms (important to understanding), and underline the facts presented in each article. Stop to write a summary sentence after each paragraph.
5. Reading Section: 6/8/10 Socratic Seminar: Love- Respond to the questions about modern day young love. Be prepared to discuss on Wednesday.
6. Reading Section: 6/8/10 Act IV Scene I R and J- Begin reading if time.
For Act 4 Scene 1, read each scene and complete the following for each scene:
1. Scan for vocabulary, add to your list and write a synonym or translation for each word.
2. Write a one paragraph summary of the major events of each scene. Be sure to include any new information that is important to story.
