2. Autobiographical Essay Peer Review
  • Read your essay to two partners. Each partner needs to complete the following Peer Review for your essay:
    1. Give a short summary of the story.
    2. What is the problem in the story?
    3. What thoughts and feelings are expressed in the story?
    4. Does the author describe people and places vividly?
    5. What lesson about life did you learn from reading the story?
    6. What is one improvement you suggest the author makes?
  • After your essay has been reviewed by 2 peers, read their responses and make at least one change to improve your essay.
  • Ask 3-5 student volunteers to read their essays to the class.

3. Introduce/discuss Online Portfolio Presentation
  • Review student model.
  • Show some video clips.
    • What expectations will you need to meet for this presentation?

4. Review "On Summer" and take the Quiz

5. Review Notes on Sound Devices
  • page 643
